Chemical Peels
Professional resurfacing treatments that exfoliate the skin, accelerate cell renewal, and improve tone, texture, and radiance.
What is a Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel is a professional skin resurfacing treatment that uses carefully selected acids to exfoliate the skin, stimulate cell turnover, and improve overall skin quality. By removing damaged outer layers, peels encourage fresh, healthier skin to emerge while supporting collagen production beneath the surface.
Chemical peels are tailored to your skin type, concerns, and tolerance. Treatments range from superficial peels with minimal downtime to more active formulations designed for targeted correction.
Why consider a Chemical Peel?
As skin cell turnover slows with age, dead skin cells build up on the surface, leading to dullness, uneven tone, congestion, and visible signs of ageing. Chemical peels work by accelerating renewal, helping the skin function more efficiently and respond better to skincare and in-clinic treatments.
They offer controlled exfoliation at a depth that skincare alone cannot achieve, improving both skin appearance and long-term health.
Improves skin tone and brightness
Removes dull, damaged surface cells to reveal fresher, more radiant skin.
Smooths texture and refines pores
Helps improve roughness and reduce the appearance of enlarged pores.
Softens fine lines and early wrinkles
Stimulates cell renewal and collagen support for smoother-looking skin.
Targets pigmentation and sun damage
Helps fade uneven pigment, dark spots, and UV-related skin changes.
Supports acne-prone and congested skin
Unclogs pores, reduces congestion, and supports clearer skin.
Enhances long-term skin health
Improves skin turnover and optimises the results of skincare and other aesthetic treatments.
What does the treatment look like?
The skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepared before the peel is applied. The selected chemical solution is then carefully layered onto the skin for a controlled period of time, based on your skin type and treatment goals. You may experience mild tingling, warmth, or tightness during application, which is normal and expected.
Treatment time typically ranges from 20–45 minutes, depending on the peel used. After treatment, the skin may appear slightly red or feel tight. Over the following 2–7 days, mild dryness or light flaking can occur as the skin renews itself. Downtime is usually minimal, and improvements in brightness, texture, and clarity develop progressively as the skin heals.
